Christmas is for the Birds was made specifically for my bird-watching friend who doesn't celebrate Christmas. When I run into him at the store or library, he enthusiastically describes every bird he's encountered since the last time I saw him. His joy is mesmerizing if not mind-boggling. I figured it would be a great use of the overabundance of bird images I was collecting and just snarky enough not to offend someone who might not appreciate a card for a holiday he doesn't like.
